拼写小提醒 Spelling tips

j、q、x + ü → ju、qu、xu
两点省去，仍读 ü。The dots disappear, but the ü sound stays.

iou / uei / uen → iu / ui / un
跟声母相拼时使用省写，如 niu、gui、lun。These finals use shorter spellings after an initial.

y、w 是这里的教学分组。
它们表示零声母音节的拼写，如 i → yi、ua → wa、ü → yu。y and w are spelling letters for syllables with no initial consonant.

zi、ci、si / zhi、chi、shi、ri
整体认读；其中的 i 不读衣（yī）的韵母音。Read these as whole syllables. Their i differs from the vowel in yī.

声调怎么看？ Meet the tones

ā一声 →高而平 · high & level

á二声 ↗向上扬 · rising

ǎ三声 ↘↗低降再升 · dipping
